After regulatory approval, the device is to be tested on the first human and completion of vision chip is to be ready in a few years.<\/p>\n<h2>First brain-chip patient plays online chess<\/h2>\n<p>Although Blindsight device is currently working in monkeys, another Neurolink&#8217;s chip has already been implanted into human&#8217;s brain.<\/p>\n<p>Noland Arbaugh, the 29-year-old patient who was paralyzed below the shoulders after a diving accident, was playing chess on his laptop and moving the cursor using the Neuralink&#8217;s device. He had received an implant from the company in January and could control a computer mouse using his thoughts, Musk said last month.
